Description

Alvarez CC7CE, Cadiz Series, Concert Classical Electro Acoustic Guitar, Lower Bout Cutaway, Natural Gloss Finish

Alvarez Cadiz guitars offer a responsive playing experience, and bring together the best of both classical and modern construction techniques to deliver an impressive array of instruments. Each and every component on these guitars is meticulously chosen, designed and constructed to offer the ultimate classical playing experience.

Looks and Sounds Classical, with Steel String Playability

With the Alvarez CC7CE you get a Classical Electro Acoustic guitar, with a lower bout cutaway, a Solid A+ Sitka Spruce top, and Dark Walnut back and sides. This guitar has been lovingly crafted in Andalusia: birthplace of the modern Classical guitar (originally designed in the 19th Century by Antonio de Torres Jurado).

When Spruce and Walnut Meet

A departure from the usual tonewood combinations, but one that's becoming more and more popular, Walnut and Spruce work great together to meet a huge variety of tonal needs.

With the Walnut you have a dense wood with a similar sparkle to what you'd normally hear with Koa, but with a mid-range more akin to Mahogany. Not only that but, also like Koa, the tone of this wood actually becomes warmer and softer with age.

Complimenting the Walnut body is a top made from solid Sitka Spruce - easily one of the most popular tonewoods of the past century when it comes to acoustic guitar making. Spruce is, by its very nature, a naturally resonant wood, with plenty of spring, that delivers a broad dynamic range and a crisp articulation that's second to none.

Modern Construction Techniques

Featuring a more lightweight soundbox than traditional Classical guitars, and a topwood fitted with a custom bracing system (cut and sanded with 4 varying widths laid out in reference to Jose Ramirez III's asymmetric architecture designs), and even a treble bar, this guitar produces a beautiful voice with bell-like trebles and a very open, clear and strong bass response.

Additionally, this particular bracing system results in a highly responsive guitar that's perfect for traditional finger-style players.

Premium Grade Electronics

Complimenting the natural sound of the tonewoods is a fantastic LR Baggs Element pickup and StagePro EQ preamp system. These two come together to help accurately recreate your guitar's natural sound for amplification via an acoustic amp or PA system.
