VOX V847-C CUSTOM WAH WAH PEDAL
The new V847-C, an evolution of the legendary VOX wah sound is based on the specs of the original VOX wah from the 1960s, the V847 has faithfully brought the legendary wah sound to the present day. The original VOX wah was used as the basis for experiments in re-voicing the new V847 wah circuit, with the goal of achieving a sound that's perfect for today's rock music. This resulted in the V847-C pedal which, while being faithful to the tradition and heritage of VOX wah pedals, has numerous customizations to make it the perfect modern VOX wah.
The V847 delivers a powerful sound with an improved frequency sweep with the gain boosted and the Q-value (the sharpness of the wah's peak) adjusted to deliver a powerful sound with a low centre of gravity. The input impedance has been adjusted to make the sound not merely more powerful but also tastefully warm. The true bypass design means that the signal does not pass through the circuit when the unit is switched off, ensuring that its tonal character is left unaffected.
This model features a fresh look and design with a memorable original colour and the improved rubber feet provide a much better feel when switching on/off.
